You would choose this route if you stopped by car in parking lot 1 for the purpose of viewing or if you took the bus, e.g. from Hatzenport station to this parking lot. Very nice path if you love a lot of panorama. Except for a small piece through the forest, you only go over spring. The castle is super beautiful, but there is an entrance fee and the inner area can only be viewed with a guided tour. Unfortunately, you don't get to see very much, as the castle is also inhabited by the lord of the castle. You are not allowed to take pictures of the inside of the castle, except for the treasury.
