Originally there were 8 burial mounds. The 7 of them lay on a north-south axis and gave the place its name "Seven Hills". The two burial mounds at the northern end are in a holiday home district and the 8 hills have been plowed away.
Investigations of the area in 1967 found a woman's body from the older Bronze Age (about 1500 years BC). The woman lay in an oak coffin together with a bronze knife, 2 amber chains and a glass bead.
