The suspension bridge (Saanesteig) can also be mastered very easily by bike, as the steps have a checker plate rail in the middle, with which the bike can be pushed up without any problems. The footbridge connects the west bank with the adjacent nature reserve Oltigematt and the east bank and the Marfeldinger-Au. At the end of it there is a not too big parking lot, from where you can easily walk to the jetty on a level path, about 1/4 hour...or the barbecue area in front with a view of the two waters (confluence of the Saane and Aare ) and the great landscape with the nuclear power plant in the background.
