Haus Schreurs (also called Vogelsanck after the putative founders) is a well-preserved early Renaissance-style house at Grote Kerkstraat 19 and 21 in Venlo.

According to the archives of the Municipal Court of Venlo 1351 - 1796 there must have been a Vogelsanck house in the Grote Kerkstraat (at that time still the Kerkstraat; no distinction was made between the Grote and Kleine Kerkstraat). He mentions a farm owned by Jenneskens Vogelsanck.

The house is made entirely of brick in 1588 and in the old style in 1993. In the middle is the coat of arms of the restored Van Oeijen-Boener family. It has two busts in the pediment. A street in Venlo is named after his wife's family.

The property is owned by the Hendrick de Keyser Association. Mayor Johan van Vogelsanck lived in this building.

Thanks to the Schreurs family of bakers, who also gave their name to the medieval semi-detached house, the opulent Renaissance façade was carefully restored in 1922. It had a better fate than other downtown buildings, most of which were hidden behind thick layers of stucco. The coat of arms from the 16th century refers to the spouses of the Vogelsanck sisters, Wijnand van Oeijen and Hendrik Boemer. Both couples probably each lived in one half of the building.

The 'Huis Schreurs' is located in the oldest core of Venlo, also known as 'Oude Dorp'. Around the year 1000, an existing wooden church was replaced by a stone hall church. In the 13th century, the Count of Geldern had a fortified house built behind the previous church of today's Sint Martinus Basilica.

All in all, it's history that counts, as the Huis Schreurs is one of the distinctive landmarks of the city of Venlo.
