The former malt house was converted into apartments, whereby the historical kiln including the striking large-scale cast iron windows could be preserved in its original state. The cautiously renovated facades were supplemented by balconies on the west gable to increase the quality of living.
The Angermünder Burg used to stand on the exposed site. The malt house used to belong to the Schultheis brewery and was still in operation until World War II. Today the property is a listed building.
