    The fruit educational trail Dürnau - Gammelshausen is part of the forest and hiking trail network on the northern edge of the Swabian Albund and runs at a slight altitude almost 100 to 300 m below the tree line from east to west through the grassland zone. This offers wonderful views of the gently undulating terrain of the foothills of the Alb (Notzinger Platte and Filstal basin) up to the three Kaiser Mountains and the Schurwald.
    The starting point is in Gammelshausen. In the first part of the nature trail are the plantings of the fruit group "pome fruit" and "stone fruit". In the Dürnau district, this part leads into a path that leads over the forest section "Ebene" up to the Kornberg and where you can find groups of wild roses and berries.
