Zollstock Fountain Viewpoint – Heiligenberg /HD🚴‍♂️

You pass the "Zollstock" viewpoint on this trail to the summit of Heiligenberg. It is located north of the Neckar River on the Odenwälder Weg (Odenwald Trail), along with a shelter and additional seating. The hut is a circular wooden structure built in 1978 and is located near the Freischarenschanze (Freischarenschanze). From the viewing platform, you have a wonderful view to the south of the forested hills of the Königstuhl and Heidelberg Castle.
The historic Zollstock Fountain (unfortunately, without water) is also located at the viewing platform. 🚴‍♂️

- Opposite Heidelberg Castle on the north bank of the Neckar River stands the 440 m high Heiligenberg. The summit of this legendary mountain range offers the most beautiful view of Heidelberg.
