Excavations have shown that the Celtic tombs were often decorated with funerary objects in the form of jewelry and weapons. The Celts were considered a very warlike people and lived in different tribes.
They were mostly buried in so-called burial mounds.
Today it is believed that the cremation is older than the "traditional" earth burial. So scholars agree that already 3000 BC this kind of burial existed. In many ancient cultures the cremation was performed.
