The church was built in 1840/41. Carl Friedrich August Kähne participated directly by supplying the bricks on preferential terms. It was inaugurated by the Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm IV. The church was built in the early 1980s. was deconsecrated and belongs to the district of Potsdam - Mittelmark on a hereditary lease for a period of 99 years. Numerous interesting exhibitions - initiated by various artist circles - can be seen here throughout the year. A modern exhibition system and a transportable stage provide a wide range of options for this. Concerts also take place.
