All colors were present, with the exception of piebald, with the majority of the animals being brown.
      In 1928 the stud farm was dissolved, the 160 remaining horses were given to the Polish state and the Polish stud farm Racot was founded with these animals. Only 48 broodmares survived the air raid by the German Wehrmacht in 1939, and they came to the Polish stud farm in Graditz in 1942."
