This is very well possible at the diverse interfaces between viticulture and nature, landscape, geology and history through innovative and creative communication.
The first magical place in the Miltenberg district focuses on the red sandstones and the steep terraced slopes. Steep slopes and terraced slopes are among the most fascinating cultural landscapes that man has created in the history of agriculture. However, the production of wine in these areas is becoming increasingly costly due to the still high proportion of manual labor. The working time required for grape production on a fully mechanizable slope is around 250 hours. In contrast, up to 800 hours are required on steep slopes with walls and up to 1,600 hours on terraced slopes.
