Obereisenheim was originally surrounded by strong fortifications, and the moat around the town is still visible in many places. In addition, remains of walls have been preserved in some places. The community center, which was the town hall until the 20th century, was located within the ring of walls. It has a sprawling mansard roof. Many residential buildings from bygone times characterize the townscape.
