St. Martin - a wooden baroque church located in Jawiszowice in the Oświęcim district, located on the wooden architecture route of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship.
St. Martin in Jawiszowice was built in 1692 on the site of the burned down church from 1511, which, according to the popular tradition, was probably accidentally set on fire by the son of the organist at that time.
There are three altars inside (the main one and two side ones). The main altar is probably from around 1700, and the side altars from the 19th century. The presbytery of the church is covered with a shallow apparent barrel vault, and the nave is covered with a ceiling. On the profiled rood beam between the nave and the presbytery there is a baroque crucifix and statues of the Virgin Mary, St. John the Evangelist and St. Mary Magdalene. The pulpit is rococo. The stalls are late baroque, and the confessional with figural paintings on the back and on the door is early baroque. An interesting monument is a stone folk stoup, probably made in the 17th century. There are also several Baroque paintings in the church.
