Zavist (German envy) is located on the main European watershed. House number 17 stands on this point. The water from the southern gutter flows into the Black Sea via the Schwarzach, Naab and Donau. That of the northern gutter into the Radbuza, Berouka and Elbe into the North Sea.
The Radbuza rises 1.2 km southwest of Zavist. The village has existed since 1644. Until the resettlement in 1946, mostly Germans lived there. In 1930 there were 161 residents in 23 buildings. Most of the houses survived the demolition during the cold war. A "Waldler house" (No.7) is still admirable today.
