After the refurbishment of the mill from 1989-1997 are today in this historic building in addition to the tourist information also a library, a wedding room and showrooms. With the aid of the newly created circulation channel at the weir, fish and even small animals can migrate undisturbed into the higher waterways.
At the watermill there is also a herb garden and a meadow orchard.

Watermill as an energy producer
The smaller turbines installed in the outbuilding of the watermill today generate 7 kW, approx. 100-300 kW of electricity per day via a generator and ensure that the light never goes out in the Müden mill. The remaining energy is fed into the local grid.
