The segment is known to locals with the name of Pietraia: a clear indication of the fund that will be faced. It can be traveled in both directions and is the initial part of the ancient mule track that led to the hills, arriving precisely in the Impalata district.
In both directions, a good MTB and medium / advanced driving skills are required: the reward however is given by the landscape crossed, full of olive trees and centuries-old carob trees and typical Mediterranean vegetation (mastic, broom, olive) .
We do not recommend the passage during the harvest of the carobs and olives, as the owners of the land position the nets so that they invade the track.
