    The Kneipp medicinal herb garden is located in the Graben area against the attractive background of the Zeller Tor. The strictly structured garden is reminiscent of the old medicinal herb gardens in the monasteries and thus also a bit of the genesis of Kneipp therapy with medicinal plants.

    You enter the garden through an archway covered with climbing plants. Well laid out paths open up the 34 beds bordered with small stone paving stones. In the center of the crossing main paths is a bust of Pastor Sebastian Kneipp. The four rose trees emphasize the crossroads.

    At the end of the central path axes, a white bench was set up, which is covered by trees and an arch for climbing plants. A cut privet hedge borders the garden.

    The strict design and the location on an "island" particularly highlight the medicinal herb garden. The water from the pharmacy pond around the medicinal herb garden is constantly circulated in an open circuit and kept in motion. When the water level drops, it is topped up with fresh water.

    The water is pumped up from the pool through a pressure pipe to the water playground. From there it flows back over several small weirs into the basin around the medicinal herb garden.
