The two-story Laubishof chapel was built in the middle of the 17th century in fulfillment of a vow during the Thirty Years' War (1618-48): the Laubishof farmer had hidden from the Swedish troops in the haystack and sent his prayers to heaven ... the "Swedish head" above Door arch reminds of this episode.
Today's Laubishof farmers run a small farm shop opposite the chapel.

The chapel is special because it has two floors. The upper floor - still recognizable from the outside by the two small windows framed with sandstone - used to serve as a storeroom. A crucifix hangs in a niche between the window openings. On the ground floor you enter the chapel through a wide door.
The first chapel was built after the end of the Thirty Years' War in 1634. Renovated around 1900. Restored in 1987/88.
