Here on the Gollenberg in Stölln, the world's first flight attempts were made. Flight models, documents and photos describe the life and work of the flight pioneer Otto Lilienthal in the Lilienthal-Centrum Stölln. A multifunctional building is available for this purpose in the form of the “old distillery”. The impressive permanent exhibition is divided into four thematic complexes: Aviarium (large aviary), workshop, 2wei brothers and the encyclopedia of aviation. A special sensation is the "Lady Agnes" - an IL 62 retired by Interflug, which can be viewed at Gollenberg.

Around the Gollenberg there is the Lilienthal Center and the IL 62, memorial stones for Otto Lilienthal and Paul Beylich, the world's first aircraft fitter, and the unique "wind harp" at a historical location. An ideal excursion destination for the whole family.

A visit to the Lilienthal Center can be combined with a stay on board the aircraft with a cheap combination ticket.
