This lake always dries up by the end of the summer due to the seepage of water underground as the lake has no outlet. Every year with the onset of snowmelt, the lake is refilled by meltwater from the mountains above.

There is no tourist infrastructure at the lake and access from the shore is usually very difficult. Unfortunately, swimming is not possible here. Overall, however, the lake is beautifully embedded in the landscape, and a visit to this beautiful and quiet spot is highly recommended.

Lag Prau Tuleritg

The Lag Prau Tuleritg is an annually recurring temporary lake of a complex hydrological system in the landslide debris near Flims

The lake dries up completely at the end of summer. Every early summer when the snow begins to melt in the mountains, more water flows in the underground system and the resulting overflowing Lag Prau Pulté supplies the lake near Tuleritg with water via a stream. The Prau Tuleritg Lake lies in a terrain chamber west of Lake Cauma. Obviously, the lake feeds the inflowless Lake Cauma, which is about 18 meters below, via an underground path. Lake Cauma changes its level by up to 6 meters.
