The Hafelekar mountain station is the highest station on the Nordkettenbahn. From the Innsbruck Congress Center, you can take the funicular to the Hungerburg station and from there take two sections of the cable car, first to the Seegrube middle station and then to the Hafelekar mountain station.

The timetable depends on the season.

In addition to various tickets for ascents and descents, a special via ferrata ticket is offered. This is really ideal for the via ferrata. You start at the Hungerburg and go all the way up to the Hafelekar. The via ferrata starts directly to the left of the mountain station. Regardless of whether you only do the first part of the via ferrata or both parts, you arrive at the Seegrube middle station on foot. From there you go back to the Hungerburg.
