The Catholic parish church of St. Brigida is a listed church building in Blumenthal, a district of the municipality of Hellenthal in the Euskirchen district (North Rhine-Westphalia).
The two-aisled, plastered quarry stone building with a recessed chancel with a 5/8 end is located away from the village, directly on the Olef River. The low west tower is set forward under a bent slate pyramid. The building was built as a chapel in 1512. The originally single-nave structure was expanded in 1967 to include a north aisle. The north wall of the Gothic nave was excavated to form pointed arches. Cross-ribbed vaults were incorporated into the nave, and reticulated vaults into the chancel. Remains of the Rococo altars were reused on the organ parapet. The late Gothic sacrament niche is noteworthy. (Wikipedia)
