Up to the Murtörl you walk for a long time parallel to a stream, so there is plenty of opportunity to refill water. From Murtörl it becomes a little more difficult and the last climb to the summit cross is very steep and hardly noticeable, few hiking markings and no clearly recognizable path. The view is worthwhile when the weather is nice. You can see as far as the Hochalmspitze, Ankogel.
