The simple design of the Lutheran Martinskirche Cuxhaven-Ritzebüttel immediately attracts the visitor's attention when entering the church. The portal, the tower and the bells of the church were added only in 1883-1886. The round altar inside the church is a reference to the architect Axel Bundsen and his Danish homeland. The roof vault is designed as a starry sky.
