The Osoppo Fort is today a point of reference for the entire hilly and pre-Alpine area of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Declared a national monument in 1923, it was demilitarized in 1951 and is now home to various cultural events made evocative by the beautiful panorama of the Tagliamento River and the surrounding area. Its charm and importance are also indisputable from a historical-tourist point of view: in fact, on this fort you can observe the remains both those dating back to the period of the Great War and those from previous years.
