This small, impressive quarry is located between the Liebethaler Grund and the electricity works in Lohmener Grund. At the edge of the path there are many larger stone blocks where you can have a picnic or observe a bit of the surroundings. Caution !!! As it is an active quarry, entry is prohibited. Every now and then there may be explosions.

The boundary of the quarry is lined with large blocks of sandstone, which should be enough for the surprised hiker to cover. ;) DANGER! The markings of the official trail are meanwhile a bit "hidden", DO NOT ENTER THE QUARRY! Here is danger to life!
