        A turquoise interlude in the woods of the Tolmezzo Prealps: Lake Verzegnis.
        The artificial basin, created from the Ambiesta stream, was created in the 1950s and is located in the mountains of the municipality of Verzegnis. Its location, far from the main traffic routes, allows you to immerse yourself in nature and the silence of this area of Carnia. Due to the peculiarity of its waters, used mainly for hydroelectric purposes, the lake is not suitable for bathing, but can still be enjoyed by strolling along the banks towards the large dam or thanks to relaxing moments with the fishing rod while waiting for one of the many trout present to bite!
        Several routes run along the lake shore and are designed for MTB enthusiasts or for those who, attracted by a not too distant past, want to stroll through the alleys of the towns of Fuignis and Pusea, now abandoned villages that have preserved the charm of yesteryear. In Pusea you will come across a sign that says: "Welcome to Pusea, the land of enchantment that no one leaves without regret".
