The Groß Glienicke Manor was an estate built in the late Middle Ages at the northern end of Lake Groß Glienicke, which has been owned by several noble families from the Mark Mark since it was first mentioned in 1375. The von Ribbeck family lived on the estate until 1788, beginning with Georg von Ribbeck, who acquired it in 1572. After the death of the last owners, the married couple Otto and Dorothea Wollank, the manor was given up in 1938 because of its debts. The manor house burned down in 1945, while parts of the Groß Glienicke estate park, which is a listed building, are still preserved.
