The fastest way leads from Soislieden to the summit, on which there is even a lookout tower! A little longer, about 8km, starts a circular route in Ufhausen. In 1895 the first Soisberg tower (8 m) was built using wood. In 1955 the tower was renewed by the Federal Border Guard to a height of 13.5 m. Later this tower had to be closed because it was dilapidated.
In 1997 the foundation stone for a new tower was laid by the "Bürgerinitiative Aussichtsturm Soisberg eV" with the support of the communities of Eiterfeld, Schenklengsfeld and Hohenroda.
