        A mighty rock from Nagelfluh, the people of the Allgäu sometimes refer to it as Lord's Concrete, houses the geological organs. The age of the formations should be interesting - the ravages of time have been gnawing at the rock for more than half a million years. Intruding water therefore had plenty of time to soften and loosen the hard rock and to flush out tubes up to 15 m high that stand side by side like organ pipes.
