The walk over the high wind turbine bridge - at a depth of around 17 m the Rhine thunders over the weir openings - as well as the short stay directly under the pole edge, which measures 4.9 m in diameter, will remain in the visitors' memories for a long time.

Since April 15, 1920, the listed border power plant has used the hydropower of the Upper Rhine between the Thur and Glatt estuaries to generate electricity. It has been listed in the inventory of objects worthy of protection since 1979.

The power plant is located directly on the national cycle route no. 2 (Rhine Route) in Rheinsfelden.

Klingnauersee is a very beautiful nature preserve and well known amongst the bird watching community. The cycleway on the west side of the Klingnauersee is all asphalted and a very smooth surface, caution should be exercised on the weekend due to the large number of walkers on Sunday after 12:00
