In good weather, the best views in the direction of the Siebengebirge and Westerwald. The site was used by the military until the end of the 1980s (air defense radar position). The site has been a nature reserve for several years. The buildings were demolished in the early 1990s as the facility became redundant. Only roads and foundations can still be seen. Nature reclaimed the rest.

Attention bikers: Unfortunately, vandals and environmental thugs are often on the move up there. In addition to small barbecue fireplaces, which nobody has anything against, unfortunately a lot of glass is broken. Awareness prevents one or the other tire patch here. ;-)
