The Wartbergwarte stands at the highest point of the Großkrut municipality (235 m above the Adriatic)! After climbing the approx. 15 meter high tower you have a breathtaking view over the Weinviertel in all its splendor!
In the west the view of the ruins of Staatz and Falkenstein. Head south towards the Großkrut with its cadastral communities of Althöflein and Ginzersdorf. At the foot of the control room there are informative display boards on the subject of wine and the history of viticulture in Großkrut. Enjoy the wonderful view of the countless vineyards at the foot of the control room. Stroll through the vineyards on marked circular hiking trails!

The Wartbergwarte is about 5.5 kilometers from the center of Großkrut and can be reached wonderfully via the romantic Kellerberg Großkrut!
