    Visiting the Stone Age Park takes you back 5,000 years. And not without reason, because in the area you will find many burial mounds from the Stone and Bronze Ages.           The Steinzeitpark Dithmarschen is an archaeological open-air museum with history reconstructed in its original size. Experience the way of life of the hunter-gatherers in their village. See a cultural landscape of the time of the first farmers and cattle breeders in northern Germany 5,000 years ago on the approx. 40 hectare outdoor area.
          History to touch and participate in
          How did people in northern Germany live in the Neolithic? What did their houses and everyday life look like? Archaeologists deal with these questions from a scientific perspective. There are tangible answers for everyone in our Stone Age Park at Süderstraße 47 and in our Museum for Archeology and Ecology at Bahnhofstraße 29! An exciting circular hiking trail takes you through different epochs and faithful replicas as well as original finds.
          A variety of archaeological attractions, adventures on the natural playground or long walks in the Stone Age forest - the Stone Age Park Dithmarschen is the ideal destination for families, school classes and club or company outings.
