A fabulous place in the 14th century. At the time of Landgrave Hermann II, the opponents of Hesse united in the Star League. According to legend, over 2,000 knights and nobles met on this very hill to fight against the landgrave. In 1373 the Star League collapsed due to the landgrave's military superiority, and the name has stayed the same: The Forehead.
