Torre de Observação do Galgenberg

Built in 1879 as a war memorial on the Galgenberg (also Wilhelmshöhe). The 26-meter-high round tower (98 steps) was extensively renovated after the turn and offers beautiful views of Bad Freienwalde, the surrounding forest and hills, the Oderbruch and the Neumark beyond the Oder.

Opening hours and admission fees:
All four towers will be open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 17:00 in the 2015 season (89th March to 31st October), as well as on Sundays and public holidays. The entrance fee is 2, - €; reduced 1, - €.

Use the Turm-Ticket: For 6, - € or reduced 3, - € you can visit all four towers!

Essential for the tower diploma and therefore a must, and not just because of the view. Opening times: from April to October, Tuesday to Sunday and on public holidays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
