The former Corveyer Lehnshof is undoubtedly one of the most photographed buildings in Höxter.
Today known as Dechanei, this former Corveyer Lehnshof was owned by the noble family von Amelunxen, who originally gave it its name, since the 14th century. Christoph von Amelunxen, who had acquired a fortune as a cavalry master in the service of the French king, rebuilt this undoubtedly most famous Höxter house in the Weser Renaissance style from 1564 to 1571.

The double-gabled front with over 60 differently designed fan rosettes is worth taking a closer look. The execution of the carving work and the elaborate facade design with the polygonal, two-storey utlucht testify not only to the wealth of ideas and skill of the builders, but also to the wealth of the client.

Since 1796 the farm has been used as the rectory of the Catholic parish and the residence of the parish dean.
