The Mitterhütte is open during the grazing season from June to the end of September. There is no day off during this time. However, it may be that the Almerin is busy with work in the field or other tasks and is therefore not present for a short time. And there are many such tasks to be done in the hut and on the grounds. There is the usual food in the huts, i.e. bacon, sausage and cheese sandwiches, as well as the usual drinks, including milk from the farm's own sheep and goats. There is no possibility of overnight accommodation.
