The tourist association has re-marked the path from the city park to Geig, the highest point in Vöcklabruck. The entire hike, including the way back, takes around four hours and begins in the city park at the "Blaues Eisen" bridge. Those who are not fit can hike back to the starting point via Oberthalheim. The highest point is the summit of Geig at 559 meters - with Bankerl and "summit cross".
