Caminhada
Kolmanskop is a ghost town about 10km southeast of Lüderitz. Founded in 1905, it quickly became the richest city in Africa.
The city is true equipped with every imaginable luxury, the then known Europe.
All what you needed to live had to be herann geschaft. Most of the goods came from Germany.
The reason was the ascent with the diamond mining at that time.
When the diamond fields were mined and abandoned in 1930, the inhabitants gradually left the city and left it to the one who knew it. They also left partly the entire facility back.
