Lauf-Lillinghof (EDQI) is a special landing site on the summit of the Epperlesberg (545 m above MSL). Operator is the gliding Club Lauf (founded in 1929, currently more than 100 members).
The photographed tugboat is a Morane Ralley 180TS from Socata, the glider is a LS4 from Schneider. Both machines belong to the club.
The course offers not only interesting insights into the flight operations, but also a really great view of the landscape.

Caminhada

The airfield was created in the 1950s by the Gliding Club Lauf e.V., which was founded in 1929. In the run-up to this, in 1955 the first tests had been carried out on what later became the site of the square. After these had produced positive results, construction of the airfield began. With the official approval in 1957, the first regular flight operations were finally started.
