The Hohe Wand Nature Park is open daily (until 6 p.m. in summer, until 5 p.m. in winter). You get the feeling of floating on the viewing terrace built into the rocks. A great experience! Iron bars separate you from the abyss and offer a breathtaking view - into the distance and into the depths. Everything is safe, of course, but not recommended for people with a fear of heights.

The observation deck Skywalk on the Hohe Wand is a special facility of the nature park. The observation deck is built into the rock and gives you the feeling of standing in the air. From here you have an impressive view into the depths and over the Viennese Alps. In good weather, there is a wide view to Lake Neusiedl.

Platform at almost 900m that protrudes over a rock face. Fantastic view, you can even see Lake Neusiedl.
To climb the Hohe Wand, I recommend the route from Markt Piesting; from Dreistetten you can drive up in a zigzag course on forest roads (although there is a lot of loose ground, so it's a bit difficult). The toll road that starts between Stollhof and Maiersdorf is essential, however steeper with more traffic.
