Lio Piccolo, a unique environment in the world for its landscape, richness of ecosystem and local traditions.

But what makes it special is not only its history: it is in fact the oldest settlement in the area and is surrounded by "valleys", lagoon areas used as fishing grounds since the year 1000.

If you sharpen your eyes, you may have the opportunity and the good fortune to notice them. Tapered, elegant, beautiful: these are the pink flamingos, which are reflected in the lagoon and brackish waters of this naturalistic oasis. But be careful though, because with just one flap of their wings they move quietly from one end of the lagoon to the other in search of appetizing snacks!
