The Ammertenspitz is a panoramic, rarely visited peak above the Engstligenalp near Adelboden. The route is alpine but not technically difficult – ideal for sure-footed hikers in good shape.Route:
Start at the Engstligenalp mountain station (1,962 m), continue over scree fields to the summit.Duration: Approx. 3–4.5 hours ascent, approximately 650 m elevation gainReturn the same way or via the Ammerten PassHighlights:
✅ Fantastic panorama of Wildstrubel, Lohner, Wildhorn, and into the Valais
✅ A secluded summit – often deserted
