    The bike path follows the canal, which was originally built in the 1830s as a transportation corridor between NYC and Philadelphia. It's a truly beautiful place to ride your bike at.

    This is a good gravel path suitable also for road bikes. There are some short segments made of cobbles that are meant as overflows from the canal to the river, but they are easy to ride over.
