Treisberg is a dreamy little village in the Hochtaunus, idyllically situated with a wonderful view on the slope of the Pferdskopfs. Less than 200 people live here. The old school from 1846 was built as a town hall, but never used as such. Her days as a school are also numbered long ago. Today the Heimatverein uses this historic half-timbered house, which is a listed building. The cast iron fountain in front of the house is typical of the Taunus.

Town hall built in a prominent corner location in 1846, schoolhouse from 1860 until it was connected to the Anspach central school in 1964. After that it was temporarily a church meeting place and since 1982 the headquarters of the local history association. Two-storey building built on a quarry stone base as a plastered building in structural half-timbering with a gable roof and a bell/clock tower in the middle, slated and roofed in the shape of a tent. The interior was formerly divided into a teacher's apartment (below) and a school room (above). When the building was renovated, the separate school entrance, which was built in 1908/09 to completely separate the apartment, was removed. It was accessed via a semi-circular sandstone staircase on the left front side and was slightly raised. 1985-89 fundamental renovation by the Treisberg local history association.
