                        The term seaside architecture is generally understood to refer to an architectural style from the turn of the 20th century, whose multi-storey villas in white to ochre colours are characterized by elaborate balconies and verandas, often made in the form of wooden structures. Style elements from other styles are often incorporated and cited: for example, architectural elements from the Black Forest (e.g. the Villa Finja in Wilhelmstrasse)."
