1240 - The village of Wollin is mentioned for the first time in a document as “Woldin” (meaning place of oxen). Perhaps the Slavic ox god Voloß was worshiped here.

1261 - Wollin has a church, which with its earnings belongs to St. Peter's Church in Szczecin. The church is a relatively original building made of fieldstone from the transition period from Romanesque to Gothic. The large tower portal and a smaller entrance gate on the north side date from this period, along with the walls, some of which have preserved incised joints on the lower east gable.

1292 - the church tower is erected, which is renewed and raised in 1772, and a new crown is mounted on its top.

The baroque altar with a 2-storey column structure and carved cheeks was erected around 1700. The pictures painted on wood show the Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples in the so-called predella, in the middle Christ before his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane and at the top his burial.

1717 - the baroque pulpit is built, along with a new confessional. Around 1700 the baptismal bowl was made of brass with a depiction of Adam and Eve in paradise. The bowl was brought to us as a find when we fled Friedefeld in 1945, where it was used as a goose feed bowl for many years (the christening table is from 1861).

1853 - the organ was built by the Wiegener and Schramm company from Szczecin for 630 thalers. It was one of the few organs in the area to survive the post-war period and is still regularly played in church services today. The church will also be renovated and remodeled this year.

In 1990/91 the church tower was restored and re-boarded and given a copper roof. The damaged crown is renewed, the old sphere is gilded and a new cross is made (in the Schwuchow workshop, Angermünde). The entire church is repointed and has a new roof
