          From Shortinho - The Nienstedter Pass is located in the middle of the Deister on the L 401 between Nienstedt and Egestorf am Deister. With its height of 277 meters, it is the highest in the Hanover area and longest with a length of over four kilometers with the road bike continuously drivable increase. At the vertex of the pass, the Deisterkamm, there is a parking lot, which is the starting point for numerous hiking and mountain biking trails in the Deister.
