The Wissersheim Water Tower is located in the Nörvenich district of Wissersheim in the Düren district, significantly on Wasserturmstraße. It can be seen far across the Börde landscape.
The tower was built in 1908/09 by the then Wissersheim-Rath waterworks, which was operated by the municipality of Nörvenich until 2008. In 1989, the former water tower was purchased by the sculptor Günter Thelen, who set up his apartment and studio there. The engine house was sold to a private owner. The water tower is not a listed building. It was in operation until 1952.
